“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” -Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

The name Relevant is not a statement of style, it speaks to our message. Regardless of who you are, where you’re from, what you look like, what you have or haven’t done, we all need good news. There is nothing in the world more relevant than the gospel of Jesus, the message of His amazing grace and unconditional love for all of us.
The vision of Relevant Church is to strengthen faith in Christ and inspire love for others through a focus on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” -Galatians 5:6
“I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” -1 Corinthians 2:2
Our message is simple, Jesus + Nothing = Everything. We preach the gospel (the good news of Jesus and what He has done for us) every single week. We believe that as we focus on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith, we are being transformed. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
For us, church isn’t just a meeting, an organization or an institution…we are the family of faith. We believe that it’s God heart for us to love, serve and care for each other. We purpose our Sunday services to have a living room feeling, where people feel at ease and at home. We want people to feel free to be themselves, so come as you are, whatever you feel comfortable wearing is perfect!
We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis and his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness (Romans 3:10-18).
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:16).
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples (1 Corinthians 15:14; Romans 4:25).
We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and His personal, literal, and bodily coming again the second time for the Church (John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:11).
